Graced the 2005 Las Vegas Centennial Wall of Women with 256 other women Featured in the Nevada Women’s Legacy Book for the 150 Years of Excellence.

Retired from the transportation industry after 42 years, experience with legal paperwork on regulations for local and long distant transportation, and accountability for DOT. He was honored with safety awards within the freight transportation industry while keeping within the guidelines of the Labor Unions.

Marie R. Scrofani

Secretary

Marie comes to us with 36 years administrative background in the following areas: insurance, legal, construction, education, retail, notary and real estate.  Marie holds a Real Estate license in the state of Nevada, previously worked as a Substitute Teacher (K-5) and also as a Special Education Support Staff in Primary Autism for Clark County School District.

Anita Laruy
 

Dynamic Life Change - Serves as Vice-President of the Board of Governors at North Vista Hospital; Member of the Women’s Chamber Executive Board and Director of Government Affairs

Anita Laruy has been living in Las Vegas since 1986. She grew up and was educated in New York. She holds both a Bachelors and Law Degrees and was certified as a Life Coach at the Coach Training Alliance. She worked at the City of North Las Vegas for 19 years and held the following positions:  Director of Intergovernmental Relations, where she served as the City’s Lobbyist; Assistant to the City Manager; and Director of the North Las Vegas Library District. She is currently a Certified Life and Legislative Coach.  She is very active in the Las Vegas community and currently serves as Vice-President of the Board of Governors at North Vista Hospital; Member of the Executive Board and Director of Government Affairs for the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada. She has also served on many state and local boards.  Her awards are too numerous to list. Anita is fully bilingual: English and Spanish.

Barbara Wood


Philanthropist

 

Barbara Wood, a 42-year Las Vegas resident, has been called a "Fundraising Queen", raising over $18,000,000 for 17 nonprofits, serving on 21 boards and volunteering for 33 nonprofits. She began her volunteering passion at age 9, recruiting classmates to help March of Dimes and to act in a play she wrote to raise funds for the school library. Her volunteering continued and in 1999 she became a professional fundraiser. She was named Outstanding Fundraising Professional of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Besides the Las Vegas boards, she was also on 7 Nevada State boards and held 4 positions nationally. Barbara was one of the first people who had the privilege of working with June Beland on her board for the Women's Chamber of Nevada. She was excited to help recognize outstanding women with the Athena Award. Barbara had the opportunity to coordinate the Chamber's Henderson Breakfast group where members could attend and learn what other members did and gain new contacts. She counts the Chamber as the most focused organization for helping women to grow their businesses. She has valued the opportunity to meet so many outstanding women contributing to our community. Barbara thanks June Beland for her dedication in building this Chamber for all of us!

Dolores Campuzano-Pignatello


The Cosmopolitan - Executive Director of Banquet Operations and Property Ambassador for Community Involvement for the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas

 

Dolores has worked in the Hospitality Industry for over 26 years. Prior to the Cosmopolitan, Dolores was with MGM Resorts International for over 15 years at 3 of their Luxury Properties (Bellagio, Mandalay Bay and The Mirage). Other previous employers include Pebble Beach Resorts, Hard Rock Resorts and Walt Disney World Resorts. Dolores is a UNLV Alumni ’00, an MGM Resorts International Leadership Institute Alumni ‘12 and a Leadership Las Vegas Alumni ’16. She is a mentor and advocate to various individuals throughout the Hospitality Industry, at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and within the community. Dolores is currently a WCCNV Board Member, a WCCNV Legacy Foundation Board Member, a Congressional Award of Nevada Board Member, a DFSSNV Board Member and a Nevada Donor Network Diversity Council Member.

Jan-Ie Low

Jan-Ie Low, the founder of Golden Catalyst, boasts over 30 years of experience in human resources, business development, marketing, events management, and entrepreneurship. During her career, she held strategic and senior-level positions in human resources at Fortune 500 companies AT&T Wireless and T-Mobile USA. In 2005, Jan-Ie left corporate America to pursue her entrepreneurial passion, establishing Satay Thai Bistro & Bar—a family-owned restaurant recognized by TripAdvisor as one of the highest-rated Asian restaurants in Las Vegas. After 18 years of service, Satay closed its doors on December 18, 2022. Jan-Ie also contributed to economic development as part of Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo’s transition team. She served as a commissioner for the White House Initiatives for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (WHIAAPI) under both President Donald J. Trump and President Joe Biden until May 2021. The commission’s mission was to collaborate with federal agencies to enhance the health, education, and economic well-being of AAPI communities. Jan-Ie remains committed to her community, volunteering her time with organizations like Chefs for Kids and the Nevada Small Business Council. In recognition of her contributions, she was named Citizen of the Month by Mayor Pro Tem and the City of Las Vegas on February 2, 2022.

As a relationship manager for the Professional Banking team, I help busy professionals like doctors, dentists and attorneys with all aspects of their financial needs, both business and personal. I have over 20 years of banking experience focusing on SBA loans and financing for mergers & acquisitions, commercial real estate, working capital, equipment & inventory purchases, and managing cash flow. As a Las Vegas resident since 1992, I am the founding President of the Las Vegas India Chamber of Commerce and president of Asian American Group/AAG. I sit on several boards, including the Advisory Board for Touro University, Advisory Board of Dignity Health St. Rose Hospitals, Executive Board of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada, Board of Trustees for the FBI Citizens Academy and also serve as policy chair for AREAA (Asian Realtors Association of America) and Advisory Board Member of Las Vegas Metro Police Multi Cultural Advisory Council. I am Founder/President of the Nevada Congressional Awards Board and a member of the National Congressional Awards Board. Shannon McCallum

Resorts World Las Vegas - Vice President of Hotel Operations

 

As Vice President of Hotel Operations for Resorts World Las Vegas, Shannon McCallum oversees and executes the strategic direction of all hotel functions such as front desk, front services, VIP services, spa, housekeeping, pool, uniforms, concierge and more. McCallum is responsible for creating and implementing new innovations to enhance the guest experience, developing short- and long-term goals to generate revenue for the property’s three hotel brands – Las Vegas Hilton, Conrad Las Vegas and Crockfords Las Vegas. In her role at the Strip’s newest integrated resort, McCallum works to create an environment that motivates team members to perform at their best, further developing the Resorts World Las Vegas brand and establishing its reputation is the Las Vegas market. She looks forward to refining the operations and the innovative technology that enhances the guest and employee experience, continuing to focus on driving a culture of service excellence.

Summer Webb

American Estate & Trust LLC - Vice President of Business Development
 

Summer Webb serves as Vice President of Business Development for American Estate & Trust (AET), a Nevada Trust Company and Financial Institution. AET provides software for businesses nationwide to manage retirement accounts and alternative investments. Summer has been with AET since 2015, heading strategic partnerships and business development. She has a background in real estate and project management. Her vast industry knowledge and experience enable her to successfully support the needs of scaling businesses across the country. As a wife and mother, Summer is personally passionate about the community. She provides education on financial literacy and investing in alternative assets with retirement funds. Her family volunteers/sponsors numerous athletic and educational youth programs and provides college scholarships and funding to multiple charities. She also serves on the Executive Board of the Women's Chamber of Commerce of Nevada and The Legacy Foundation Board, providing scholarships to at-risk youth.
